From Dec 1st to Dec 24th for every $25 donation a light bulb was lit on Dawson's Tree.
On Dec 24th a total of 250 light bulbs had been lit and an additional 21 lights at $ 10 where purchased for the star.

Fundraising total: $ 6460

This money has been earmarked towards the purchase of GPS collars for our black bears as NLWS is planning to prove beyond a doubt that black bear rehabilitation is a feasable management option in BC.

All contributers are entred in a draw with wonderful prizes!

First Prize - Make your own way to Northern Lights Rescue and accompanythe NLWS crew on a
Spring Cubbie Release into the wild (date to be determined). If you are not able to attend, you may choose an alternate person.
Second Prize - Autographed copy of Else Poulsen’s beautiful book, “Smiling Bears”.
