Drew and Jason's Video

So far in 2010 we have 4 grizzly bear cubs in care to be released in 2011. They were orphaned when their mothers were shot. We are part of one of the first projects in North America to rehabilitate orphaned grizzlies and study their behaviour upon release back into the wild.

The cubs will be cared for at our shelter until they are ready to be released in the summer of 2011. Below is Drew and Jason's story in video.

Abbey's Video

Abby is a young cub who survived a terrible ordeal losing parts of her ears due to entrapment in a wolf snare. Tiny, no bigger than a house cat, she took up residence in a Rancher's garage. Fortunately Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter was called to help.
