This little one was actually caught by a conservation officer last week in Bella Coola and then the epic snowstorms hit all of us, highways where closed and it took days to dig through it all. All along the wonderful CO kept and cared for the cub.
Then finally yesterday he personally took the long drive from Bella Coola to Williams Lake and delivered the cub to our Highway Angels at Banstra Transport who took him the rest of the way to Smithers were we picked him up. We are giving him some time to settle and tomorrow will give him a good physical checkup.
