On August 18th, 2019 we received a juvenile bald eagle in very poor condition. We stabilized the bird and on August 20th send him via Central Mt. Air to OWL in Delta. Over the next few month’s, the young bird recuperated and on March 28, 2020 returned for release via Bandstra.
It was with great joy that we released the bird and though at first, we got a little worried when she didn’t fly right away, it was then extra wonderful to see her soar.
