    'Tamale' - Meet The Animals

“Tamale” (named as she was small and fiery) came only one day after Skip in May of 2019. She had been found wandering alone near Ft. St. John. It is unknown what happened to her mother. Once Skip was stable Tamale was all to happy to make friends with him though the size difference was quite substantial.

The little bear was not easily intimidated even once she and Skip moved into the big group. Like 20 others, she hibernated from November to March 19th and is now eating up a storm in preparation for her release.

Tamale will start her journey home in June and find her own way out in the wild.
