Does NLWS get paid for the filming?

NLWS did receive some numeration from Omnifilm.  That money went directly into NLWS budget to care for the wildlife.

The contract also stipulates that NLWS receives a small percentage from film related sales such as DVD's or T-Shirts.

Beyond that Omnifilm has been very generous in helping with purchasing radio collars for our bears. That enabled us to increase our post-release monitoring and we are so very grateful for the opportunity.

Staff and Volunteers that participate in the series do so on a volunteer basis, none of us receive wages.

While the extra income was very welcomed, it does not negate the need of Donor support. Our day to day expenses as well as  building costs for more enclosures (as admittance numbers rise) are covered by support through donations.
