    Kaiyo had fallen out of his nest high up in a tree during a storm. He was stalked by cats and his life was in danger. Though parents were present he would not have survived on the ground and the nest was inaccessible. The shelter offered him a chance to grow up and be able to fly.

    Skip arrived with serious health issues as he reacted unusually strong to the tranquilizer. We spend the night up with him and had to restart his heart several times. Once he got the drug out of his system he recuperated quickly and is now a healthy, playful cub.

    MAIZE, LIZZY, KYRIE

    The triplets are inseparable and have very different personalities. Maize is very gentle & timid. Lizzy is the warrior always ready to fight and make her way in the world. Kyrie is very assertive and a bit on the shy side. Gratefully all three came in in good health and have blossomed with the care they receive.
