'Bandit' - Meet The Animals

"Bandit" the ermine (weasel) is ready for release, her broken foot has healed completely. Look how her fur colour is already changing in preparation for spring.

'Lousie' - Meet The Animals

Adorable!

'Louise' arrived with her own police escort. The officer picked her up after her mom died as the result of a vehicle accident. Since then 'Louise' has grown into a lovely young doe. She was released back in September, but still drops by for frequent visits.

'Rory' - Meet The Animals

We'd like to introduce you to 'Rory'. This little cub was rescued by the two boys from Quesnel named Chase & Kaydan. She has become best friends with 'Patch' who was also rescued in Quesnel a few days after 'Rory'. We suspect that they may be siblings.

update: 'Rory' is healthy and doing well!

Birthday fundraiser! Thank You Bastian!

Today we wanted to share our appreciation...

For his 10th birthday Ontario resident Bastian decided to forgo gifts at his birthday party and instead ask his friends for a cash donation in order to raise funds for NLWS. As you can see he was VERY successful in his quest.

With the money raised we are able to purchase a catch pole that enables us to safely handle and capture wildlife! Thank you Bastian, family & friends for making a big difference!

We are always honoured and touched deeply with every donor and volunteer that helps us in our mission. You are all very special to us!

Bear Cubs In The Snow!

Winter Cubs!

As the cubs grow and heal, they need to take time to rough-house and play with each other. The snow provides a fun way for the bears to roll around together, jump into snow piles and dig through mounds... while giving us the feeling that what we do here is truly helping these animals.

If you enjoyed this video please Like, Comment & Share to help spread the word about the work we do.

Thanks for watching. Please consider a donation, your support is important.
