Release Season Has Arrived!
Release season is one of the most meaningful times of year at Northern Lights Wildlife Society.
It is the moment when months of care, preparation, patience, and quiet hope begin to come full circle. For every bear cub that arrives at the shelter frightened, orphaned, or in need, the goal is never simply to care for them in the present. The goal is always to prepare them for a future back where they belong, in the wild. NLWS rescues, rehabilitates, and rewilds injured and orphaned wildlife in British Columbia. Your support helps provide food, shelter, medical care, rescue transport, and long-term wildlife care.
