Valkyrie Video Update

Valkyrie is a young black bear cub rescued near Dawson Creek in late December after suffering severe burns, likely from a burning slash pile, and exposure to extreme cold. She was transported to Northern Lights Wildlife Society in Smithers for urgent care and rehabilitation.
Today, Valkyrie’s recovery is progressing strongly!
Her paws have healed well, she is eating and gaining weight, and her burns continue to shrink. She is bright, energetic, and showing all the signs of a healthy cub focused on getting back to normal bear life.
