World Bear Day Rescue at NLWS

The team received a report of a bear cub in distress, prompting immediate action. The cub was discovered alone near Heffley Lake. After receiving the call, NLWS quickly mobilized. Initial reports indicated that the cub was first seen and heard at 3 p.m. yesterday. Hoping for the mother’s return, the cub was left alone overnight. By this morning, however, the cub had become quiet. Further investigation revealed that he was unresponsive and cold.
After obtaining the necessary permission, the team’s priority was to warm the cub and ensure his safety.
